Man What Are You Doing Here

‘And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar and say man what are you doin here.’

(What am I doing here? Well, part of me was thinking the same thing!)

What they really meant to say when they said that was: I’m glad you’re here.

When you do things in front of people a lot, people say strange things. Weird compliments, backhanded compliments, ‘constructive’ criticism. But the fact that they’re taking time to say anything means you made a difference.
